Knit Together

The knitting and needlecraft group has created its first big project, a patchwork blanket. Beautiful work, gals! Call Bonnie at 624-0133 for information on next get together.

Blankets for Sudan

The compassion committee is collecting blankets during February for our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters in Sudan. These blankets are used as tents and for bundling belongings, as well as warmth, and should be sturdy and plain, preferably full or queen sized-- poly blend is best. Quilts, afghans, comforters, etc. are too delicate. Avoid insignias or graphics of obvious Western origin, which may imperil the user's safety. Blankets will be sent to Voice of the Martyrs in Oklahoma and forwarded from there.

James 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Sacraments standing notice: the occasional sacraments of baptism, matrimony, confession, communion and unction of the sick, and burial are available by calling the office at 375-4463, the rector at 624-0133, or Cynthia at 402-2949.
